New in 2025Raid  Senior

Inspired by the success of the Youth Raid, an outdoor activity designed for teenagers, the Témiscamingue Raid now wishes to offer a course tailored to individuals aged 60 and over.This friendly challenge will give participants the chance to enjoy nature, stay active, and experience a stimulating adventure in a safe and welcoming environment.

Bike suitable for the Raid…

Hybrid Bike

Designed for pavement, gravel, and dirt roads. Comfortable yet dynamic position.

 

Mountain Bike

Built for rough terrain, with knobby tires, straight handlebars, and suspension.

Gravel Bike

Made for gravel and crushed stone. Curved road-style handlebars with wider tires (up to 50 mm).

 

Minimum 30 mm tires

Knobby tread

Good working condition

Road bikes are not allowed

E-bikes are not allowed

Don’t have a bike? Feel free to ask a friend or family member if you can borrow one.

Since the number of bikes available for loan is limited, it’s best to bring your own if possible.

If your bike is a bit old or not in great condition, stop by the Coop de l’Arrière-Pays. Their team can offer advice and help you make sure your bike is safe and comfortable for the activity.

 

 

What to bring (athletes):

Bike in good condition

Properly fitted bike helmet

Sports clothes and running shoes

Small backpack for the run

Water bottle + 2–3 snacks

Cold lunch

Health insurance card

Windbreaker or light rain jacket

Change of clothes (for after the Raid)

Bag for your wet gear
